Ravensight

Ravensight desktop · Beta 0.2.3

A little company.
Your studio, within reach.

Huginn and Muninn stay quietly on your desktop. Ask Huginn, the AI analyst, a question, follow its progress, and return to your work. Its answers draw on what Muninn, studio memory, keeps for your studio.

A beta client for macOS and Windows that talks to the same Huginn you already use in the dashboard, with the same permissions, allowance and prepaid balance.

Version 0.2.3. The installers are free to download. They do not include free AI usage: questions are metered exactly as they are in the dashboard, as described below.

What changed in 0.2.3: the app icon is the Ravensight logo, and connecting a device opens Settings, Desktop in the dashboard. Settings and stored keys carry over from 0.2.2.

Before you install

These beta installers are not release-signed or notarized. The Mac build is not Developer ID signed or notarized and the Windows build is not publisher signed, so your operating system may warn about or block the installation. Do not turn off your security protections to get past it. If your security policy requires signed software, wait for the signed release. Native device validation is still in progress.

Check each download against the published SHA-256 checksums before you open it.

Connect

One analyst, three ways to connect.

Sign in through your browser, use a Ravensight analyst API key, or bring your own model provider key with a Ravensight MCP key. The desktop app keeps credentials in your operating system's credential store.

Hosted analyst

Sign in with your browser

Choose Connect Ravensight. Your browser opens a device approval page; check that its code matches the one in the app, pick which games the desktop app may ask about, and approve.

Hosted analyst

Analyst API key

Create a gt_raven_ key in the dashboard under Settings, Ravensight desktop, and paste it into the app. It reaches the same hosted analyst, with the same billing, as signing in.

On your machine

Your own model key

The desktop app calls the model provider directly from your machine with your key, and reads your studio through the metered Ravensight MCP server with an MCP key. Both keys stay on your device; Ravensight never receives or stores your provider key.

What a question costs

The download does not include unlimited or unmetered AI.

  • A hosted question is the same as asking in the dashboard: one shared AI unit, drawn from your studio's included monthly allowance first and then its prepaid balance.
  • With your own key, your provider bills you for the model calls, and each Ravensight MCP read is metered on your studio's shared event meter. MCP needs an account that has funded a prepaid balance at least once.
  • Existing permissions, budgets and rate limits still apply. Current rates are in the usage and billing docs.

Quiet by default

It stays out of the way until you ask.

The ravens rest, blink independently and occasionally glance around. Drag either raven to move the widget. Click a raven to open or close chat. The toolbar opens chat, activity and settings.

Show one or both birds, pause animation, and recover an interrupted hosted question without starting another paid operation. The desktop app follows your system's reduced motion setting.
